FASHION FRIDAY: KRAZY FOR KIMONOS

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I am "Krazy" for Kimonos!!!  They are lightweight, great for travel, perfect to wear with a shirt and pants or over a bathing suit.  I got this kimono recently from one of my favorite boutiques at the Jersey Shore, Foolish Ginger- located in Asbury Park, New Jersey.  I love the colors and the pattern, and I know this will be on heavy rotation heading into spring and summer.  On another quick note before I go, I wanted to say that I am looking forward to this weekend, as I will be meeting other New Jersey bloggers at a brunch on Sunday!  I'll have more details about it next week.  Happy Friday!!!

WARDROBE WEDNESDAY: STRIPE OBSESSED

Hey everyone!  Sorry it's been awhile since I've posted, but it's been a busy past few weeks, with family and friends visiting, a trip to Texas, and countless other things going on lately.  I promise to get back on track soon with more on our trip, some restaurants we've checked out lately, and plenty of outfit posts.  In the meantime, for today's Wardrobe Wednesday, I thought I'd share with you what I wore on Memorial Day to the beach.  I definitely have an obsession with stripes, and that is why I bought this maxi dress and floppy hat recently.  I never imagined I would wear them together, but when I put both on I thought why not go for a "stripe obsessed" look...I mean it was certainly patriotic!  I picked up this dress at a boutique I love in Asbury Park, New Jersey called Foolish Ginger (a store that reminds me of a mini Anthropologie- another favorite of mine)!  Hope you all had a great holiday!
