SAN DIEGO BOTANIC GARDEN

A must see spot in San Diego is the San Diego Botantic Garden in Encinitas!  It was the first place we checked out on our recent trip to California and we fell in love instantly!  Not only is this place huge and filled with so many gorgeous trees and plants, but it's also an amazing place for children. We made music, we created art with paint and chalk, we sent boats down a stream, we climbed up and down and in and out of a tree house, we matched the letters of the ABCs to plant-life...we did a lot and had so much fun!  There are so many gardens to visit, and you literally can get lost and spend several hours here and not even realize it.  The San Diego Botantic Garden is a wonderful place to go for a walk, and a great place to get closer to nature.  It's perfect for both young and old and you won't regret taking the time to check it out!

FASHION FRIDAY: CALIFORNIA CHIC

Ever since our trip to California two weeks ago, I have been dying for the warmer weather to get here pronto!  I loved the sunshine and warmth in San Diego, and I loved having the chance to wear things that I can't wear right now back at home. I actually got to put on a tee shirt, cropped pants, shoes without socks and no coat...it was amazing!  I also love this new necklace I got from Stella & Dot recently and this bracelet from Sira & Mara, I think they both compliment so many outfits, and I see myself wearing them all spring and summer long!  It's supposed to be nice here this weekend (upper 40's)...it's not California weather, but I'll take it!  Hope you all have a great weekend!
