FASHION FRIDAY: FALL WARDROBE STAPLES

Happy Friday everyone!  We're just back from a week long vacation to Puerto Rico!  I sure am missing the sun, sand and pool.  The weather here in New York is only in the sixties and it has been rainy and dreary! Yuck!  Anyway, I will have more coming up on our trip next week, but I guess it's time to start embracing fall around here, so let's talk fall wardrobe staples.  For me, this means floppy hats, a jean jacket, booties, and a fun new bag.  I have incorporated all of these staples into this one outfit so you can see how it all works together.  The jacket is old, but the hat, booties and bag are all new and all of them were under $40 each!  Investing in a couple of staples that you can wear all season long is a great way to update your wardrobe from last year and make it seem new all over again.  I wore this outfit a couple of weekends ago when we took a road trip to see Thomas The Train and Amish Country in Pennsylvania (I'll have more on that trip coming up too!) My birthday is this Sunday, so I look forward to some fun celebrations with my family! Hope you all have a great weekend!
