WARDROBE WEDNESDAY: SPRING SHOWERS AND FLOWERS

Like the saying says, "April showers bring may flowers," and last week we had quite a bit of rain!  That is why I broke out my Hunter boots and a trench coat.  I think these are two must-have items for your wardrobe for spring.  Hunters come in so many fun colors, and you can wear them in the winter snow or even on a sunny day to add something fun to your outfit (I've seen this done all over Instagram).   But, I think the most practical season for them is now when it tends to rain a lot.  That's also how I feel about a trench coat; it can be worn on a mild winter day, or as a transition piece into fall, or now on a rainy April day.  The good thing about all of the rain is that it brings lots of flowers in May, and that's why I fell in love with this Anthro top; it has flowers and stripes (a great pattern combination for spring), and I also adore the fact that it looks like two tops layered, but it's just one!  And last but not least, I cannot take this Sira & Mara cuff bracelet off...I love the flowers on it for spring!
