Pretty soon we'll be jet setting back to the "Big D" (Dallas, Texas baby!) to visit our good friends who just had their first baby...yay!!! When we do, this is where I want to stay and one of the restaurants I must try...a sneak peak at my Dallas-To-Do List.
Voted one of the top 10 boutique hotels in the world recently, Hotel Zaza is a chic and modern boutique hotel which is located in Uptown- a great area in Dallas. The lobby looks like something out of a movie; gorgeous modern style furniture, pretty chandeliers, marble floors and great artwork. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with great linens on the beds. The atmosphere is romantic and exotic, as well as contemporary and swanky. Plus, its where Jessica Simpson stays when she's in Dallas!
Dallas is very serious about its Barbecue, and this is the place to go for it! It's been around since 1910, and it serves up seriously smokey, slathered-in-sauce meat that is supposed to be delicious! How delicious? Well, how about the food is so good that when they run out, they close for the day...and that happens a lot!!! I've heard you gotta order their beef brisket sandwich with onion rings among of things.
